Lock Tabs In Firefox: PermaTabs

Email, RSS feed reader and calendar are some of the things no one can do without. Nowadays these services have started to be used in a web based way, and no more with some specific software.

We have already seen how some extensions, like MorningCoffee, can open them up for us automatically in separated tabs.

But sometimes, specially for those who use millions of tabs simultaneously, it might happen that you accidentaly close one of your “vital tabs”.

PermaTabs is a Firefox extension that locks and keeps tabs open, without letting you close them. Plus, when Firefox starts, those tabs will also open automatically.

To lock/unlock a tab is really simple: just right click it, and select “Permanent Tab”, and it will lock permanently, and you won’t be able to close it unless you un-check the permanent tab option.
