Sometimes Firefox’s own system to manage bookmarks can results too complex to use.
Luckily there is a fantastic Add-On that can make this job easier.

It is Flat Bookmark Editor, a useful extension that allows you to manage your bookmarks.
With it you can avoid the annoying passages from the various menus. When you open up the Bookmarks Manager, you’ll see a new panel at the bottom where you can easily edit the selected bookmark.
You can open/close Bookmarks Manager by using the shortcut Ctrl + P

Note that this extension won’t be useful in Firefox 3.
So go and try it and tell us what you think about it!

As an alternative bookmark manager i use Advanced URL Catalog. Using this software is easy and it integrates with all browsers.
