Start Faster is an awesome add-on that it’s developed by an official Firefox developer.

In the beginning this add-on had to be integrated in the next Firefox 4 beta release, but it wasn’t so this guy released his idea as a Firefox Add-on so people can benefit from it while they figure out how to properly integrate it into Firefox.

Think of this as a work-in-progress technology preview.

How does it work?

Start Faster bypasses the Windows prefetch feature to start Firefox faster.

It adds a ‘faster firefox’ shortcut to the Desktop which should launch Firefox up to 2x faster than without this addon.

This add-on requires Windows 7/Vista and Firefox 4.0b10pre or later.

I recently found an add-on for Google Chrome that lets me save my bookmarks using my Google account.

It is very useful, to me, because I find a lot of interesting news, and websites, everyday and I cannot save everyone of them in my browser’s bookmarks.

Using BoogleMarks I can access to all my bookmarked sites from everywhere, and everytime I need. This a good idea to have my bookmarks sync automatically.

I know that there are currently a lot of extensions that do this: but BoogleMarks is different. It has a lot of options that allow you to full customize the add on to make it fit with your needs.

This options allow you to:

Group unlabeled bookmarks under the same label

Sort the labels alphabetically (default is by date)

Sort the bookmarks alphabetically (default is by date)

Label for bookmarks in Quick Launch Bar

These are just a few of the options that you can set when you install this add-on. I think you are going to love this extension as I felt in love when I tried it.

You can download it from here: Download BoogleMarks

Actually many people consider Google Chrome as on of the faster browser on the market, and I totally agree.

When I saw this add-on, in the beginning I asked to my self if should be possible to make Google Chrome even faster as it was already. I didn’t find an answer untill i tried it. The answer is: YES!

You can now save time and enhance your productivity.

Here’s some features from the add-on’s page:

With version 3.5, Mozilla introduced in Firefox a new feature: Private Browsing. For those who don’t know, Private Browsing is a particular state of Firefox which allows people to browse anonymously on the web, without leaving any trace into the browser’s history, cookies, complement data, etc.

Unfortunately this feature in Firefox is not very practical to use: in fact, you have to close your actual session in order to start it.

Luckily there’s a plugin, Private Browsing Window, that lets you open a new completely independent anonymous window, like it is in Chrome’s Incognito Mode, so that you don’t need to close the current browsing session.

Once you have downloaded and installed it, restart Firefox and you will find a green icon on the right bottom of your browser, or a new voice into the Tools menu: clicking it will start a new private browsing session without leaving the “normal one”.

SkipScreen is a Firefox add-on that skips the clicking and waiting time on sites like RapidShare, Megaupload, Mediafire, zShare, and more: just click on the link, let SkipScreen follow the download procedure while you don’t even pay attention to that page and, when the file is ready to download, it’ll just appear for you to save it.
Since it would be complicated to explain it with pictures, you can watch this video tutorial:

Twitter is very easy to use, but maybe we could make it even easier and faster to post with, using Firefox.

TinyTweet is a Firefox add-on that allows to instantly tweet any selected web page text, automatically creating a bit.ly link to the page where the text lives on.

How To Use It

Using TinyTweet is so easy that it wouldn’t even take one like to explain, but I’ll do my best to make it clear for you: after you select a text, without even clicking your mouse, a “Tweet this” button will float next to the selection.

Clicking that button will bring you to a new window, where you’ll just need to login to your Twitter account if you are not logged yet, and just publish it: it’ll automatically add the text, and a shortened URL linking to the page that contains the text you added.
