Disable Translation Bar In Google Chrome

Anytime you’re in Chrome browsing a webpage written in a different language, an annoying bar always pops out asking you if you would like it to translate it for you! Personally, I find this bar very distracting, and even though getting rid of it is very simple, many of you might not find it easy at all.

Even if well hidden, the Chrome settings panel is really well done with its minimalistic look, and contains just about anything you need to change any type of browsing setting with the minimum amount of effort.

All you need to do is click on the Tools button, then go to Setting, and look for the Under The Hood menu.

There you will find a place that says “Translate: Offer to translate pages that aren’t in a language I read”: simply deselect the checkbox right next to it, and from now on you’ll never need to worry about the annoying bar again!

Easy! :)
