If you want to export your bookmarks in an HTML file now is possible with Firefox with just a few clicks. This can be very usefull if you need to sync your bookmarks with another browser, backing up or moving from PC to PC.

First you have to open “Bookmarks” and then click on “Manage Bookmarks“. This will open up the “Bookmark Library“.
When you are in the “Bookmark Library” click on “Import and Backup” button and then “Export HTML”.

You will get a kind of “save this file as…” window where the default name of the exported file will be bookmarks.html.
Select the location you wish to save the file to, and then hit the Save button.
That’s all. Now you have a perfect backup of your Firefox Bookmarks! If you have any other bookmark exporting tips I wish you share with us using the comments.
