Transfer Any File Via P2P From Any Browser: JustBeamIt

Every day we found ourselves in this situation in which you have to send a file to a friend and you start thinking: is it better to send it via email (if it doesn’t exceed the limits)? Maybe via Skype or another P2P intant messenger? Or through a file hosting website like MediaFire?

If none of the above methods suit you and you want a really straightforward and direct method, you might want to check a relatively new interesting web based service called JustBeamIt.

JustBeamIt works entirely inside any modern web browser, and it basically connects you and the other party’s computer, no matter which operating system you are running, making it possible to share any type of file which doesn’t exceed 2GB of size.

How does it work?

It is really simple to share a file using JustBeamIt.

  1. Just open up your browser, and select (or drag-and-drop) a file on the home page, and wait for it to process a few seconds.

  2. Copy the sharing link and share it to your friend or colleague through email, instant messenger, or any form you’d like to, and wait for him/her without closing your browser window.

  3. When the transfer is complete, you’ll finally get notified (and you can also monitor the transfer) and may be able to close the page.

Easy right? Just try it out and you’ll see that this a great and fast way of sharing any type of file with other people, without worrying about size limitation, platform incompatibility and people’s knowledge.
